I just looked at the Detroit-based team's draft list. They took two dudes from Michigan State...and I've never heard of any of them. I read an article the other day about the league, and team and league officials were saying, "This league's got a real shot of getting off the ground," but they refused to say it would finish its first season. I'm not sure I would invest in season tickets if I were you.
