You could just drive for a day-and-a-half and then turn around. Just a thought.
How about the beautiful Van Buren, Arkansas area! I have always heard it is very nice on the tip of the wonderful Ozark Mountains...just saying! :O)

SERIOUSLY Do you live in the Tornado Land? How close are all those twisters we see on FOX to your town?
We have an airport in Ft. Smith. Delta has direct flights from Atlanta to Ft. Smith.
Yes, we do live in Tornado Alley but all of the tornado's have not been here. They have been in Van Buren County not Van Buren (the city). The VB County is about 2 1/2 hours east of us.
It is a long drive but only an 1 1/2 to fly! :O)

Would love to do it- Flights are over $600 today round trip leaving 5-28 returning 5-31
That is a little high. WOW! You could also check the Fayetteville (XNA) airport. I think it has more direct flights than just Delta. It is about 30-45 minutes away from us. I do love all of the airports around here! :O)
